Events & Marketing Manager

We’re looking for an energetic and ambitious person to grow the reputation and revenue of our brewery and bars.

Set up in 2010, we operate two breweries from our site in Windsor - Windsor & Eton Brewery and Uprising Brewery. Our beers have a great reputation in London and the Thames Valley, winning over 65 local, regional, national and international awards. Each of our three bars in Windsor attract growing numbers of locals and visitors. Despite having a rather famous castle on our doorstep, our ambition is to make beer Windsor’s top attraction!

Reporting to the marketing director, you will play a crucial role in realising that ambition. You will have imagination and vision to identify opportunities and the commitment and organisational skills to deliver them.

A large portion of the role will be involved with creating, communicating, delivering and reviewing events that provide a memorable experience for our customers and fans. We already have a number of popular regular and ad-hoc events that take place both on and off-site – your responsibility will be to build on these to create a year round calendar of events.

Using both your own creativity and working with freelance designers as required, you will also be responsible for the creation of the breweries’ marketing material, press releases, and visual merchandising in support of the launch of new beers and other initiatives.

The right candidate is likely to be educated to degree level and have a minimum of 2 years’ experience of events management and marketing.

You will be able to demonstrate the following knowledge, skills and abilities:

• Planning, organisation and delivery of memorable events and experiences

• Effectively manage, influence and motivate colleagues and third parties

• Collaborate with external partners, as well as negotiate and secure contracts for third-party vendors and event entertainment

• Creativity to generate fresh ideas of your own and of others in the team

• Verbal, written and interpersonal communication

• Analytical and problem solving skills

• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

• Financial awareness and analysis to manage events to budget

This is a full time role, based in Windsor.
