Guardsman Remember

This November marks 100 years since the end of World War One, and we are remembering all five regiments of Guards who gave so much.

Our commemorative pump clips, which will go to every pub that serves our Guardsman Best Bitter, will help raise awareness of the Royal British Legion and the Poppy Appeal.  The design replaces our familiar red coated Guardsmen with 5 silhouetted soldiers walking across a WW1 skyline while behind them stand 5 poppies, each with a different coloured centre to match the plume colours of the 5 regiments.

We have set up a page on called GUARDSMANREMEMBER in an attempt to raise at least £1918 towards this year’s Poppy Appeal.

In addition to the pump clips we'll be sending out 10,000 beers mats to pubs and bars and hand labelling 500 bottles of GUARDSMAN which we'll sell along with special coasters through our brewery shop with profits going to help achieve the target.

The launch of the Berkshire Poppy Appeal is being held in Windsor Castle this year on the 27th October. This year’s commemorations will also see the Royal British Legion marking the 100 year anniversary of the end of the World War 1 with a national movement to say ‘Thank You’ to the entire generation who lived through the war, served, sacrificed and changed our world.

Everyone has been happy to help such a good cause and we would like to thank Leawood Manufacturing Ltd , Berkshire Labels and Katz Ltd for kindly donating coasters, bottle labels and beer mats respectively.

We hope you enjoy the beer and that our small gesture raises awareness of The Royal British Legion and the support they give to the Armed Forces past and present.

Finally to all our Armed Forces past, present and future thank you! and thank you to all those that made the ultimate sacrifice 100 years ago. #ThankYou100 #GuardsmanRemebers #PoppyAppeal
