New Brewery Branding

New branding, same great beers!

As the more eagle-eyed amongst you will have noticed, the latest press and media coverage of our Royal Wedding beer has featured our new brewery logo on bottles of Harry & Meghan’s Windsor Knot.

The new logo focuses on both the Round Tower and Eton Bridge – two key landmarks of Windsor and Eton. For the same reason, the ‘&’ is bigger and a different font to the other letters. Both these things draw attention that one of the things that makes Windsor & Eton special is that we are very much two joined towns.

We’ve moved away from gold too and instead are using copper. Copper is traditionally a beer colour and by using copper it emphasises that we are a ‘beer led’ brewery, as our many awards testify (61 at the last count for our Windsor & Eton and Uprising beers).

It’s always a big decision to change branding, especially when we know how much people like and recognise our skyline logo. But the longer we’ve spent with the new logo, the more we like it and we hope the same will be true for you too.
