We're recruiting - Regional Sales Manager, Thames Valley

Craft Beer Regional Sales Manager for Thames Valley

Windsor & Eton Brewery is looking for a new Regional Sales Manager for the Thames Valley to grow its cask, keg and bottled beer sales, especially to the independent free trade. It’s a stretching role working with our diverse products - as probably no brewery combines traditional beer styles with the new craft beer world as well as Windsor & Eton.

It doesn’t matter if you have no sales experience as what really counts is your love and passion for craft beer and the self-starting, organisational, customer-focused and result-driven attributes required for this role. However previous cask / craft beer sales experience would be an advantage.

The role:

  • Increase the on-trade customer base across the Thames Valley
  • Find and engage with prospective new accounts to see their first orders through to completion
  • Achieve individual weekly call and monthly revenue targets; collaborate with the sales team to achieve group targets
  • Act as the connecting link between the brewery and customers
  • Establish and strengthen customer relationships; get the people who buy and sell our beer excited about the product and the brand
  • Uphold a “do what it takes” attitude for customers, going above and beyond regular protocol when necessary
  • Arrange and document draught installations for new customers
  • Recognise and bring forward any opportunities which fall outside of direct Thames Valley sales
  • Attend events and industry gatherings on behalf of the brewery

You:

  • Entrepreneurial approach, outside of the box thinker with creative ideas and mind-set
  • Ambitious, results-focused and willing to get stuck in
  • Proven track record of working independently, being self-motivated and able to manage time and workload effectively
  • Knowledge & enthusiasm of the U.K. cask and craft beer industry
  • A passion for the bar, pub & restaurant scene with a confidence to work across all types of accounts from a pub to a top-end restaurant
  • Energetic, tenacious and resilient with great listening skills and the flexibility to respond creatively to customer needs
  • Confident, persuasive, with a ‘can do’ attitude with a hunger for driving new business and is comfortable with a field-based role.
