We are brewing an one-off special brew of Duke's Ale to commemorate what would have been HRH Prince Philip's 100th birthday.

Some of you may recognise the template of the pump clip from a previous beer of ours, Parklife. This is a brand new recipie for The Duke who was made Ranger of The Great Park in 1952, a post he held for 69 years. During his tenure, he worked closely with the team at the Crown Estate to introduce new ideas, making the Park more sustainable and more productive for future generations. Our design celebrates three of his acheivements; replanting swathes of new trees, bringing 40 hinds and 2 stags from the Balmoral Estate to create the magnificent 500-strong herd of today, and arranging the Golden Jubilee statue in 2012.
Duke's Ale will be available in June.

We will prodominatley bottle Duke's Ale with some cask availability depending on demand. Please leave a comment at the bottom of this page if you would be interested in stocking Duke's Ale on your bar and/or if you would like some bottles.

Duke's Ale is a traditional India Pale Ale, light amber in colour with a hoppy flavour profile and dry finish. Royal Farm malted barley and Imperial malt give the ale a bready/biscuit body, heaps of Sovereign hops are added to provide a floral fragrance with some spicy and citrus flavours.
