Our Coronation ale Return of the King has a majestic bright golden hue with brilliant white foam that leaves elegant lacing on the glass.
Made with 100% organic hops and malts, including barley grown at the Royal Farm in Windsor.
Mild sweetness and bready notes from the Cara and Munich malts can be detected on the nose and palette, in perfect harmony with fragrant floral and citrus notes from the hops. Merlin hops deliver a gentle bitterness to balance the malty sweetness. A classic combination of British First Gold & Sovereign hops provides hints of magnolia, tangerine, apricot, mint & thyme. Additionally, the beer is dry-hopped with Wakatu hops from New Zealand to enhance the earthy-sweet flavours and impart a top-note of freshly-zested lime.
